KiwiRail have advised that they are undertaking significant works. The maintenance is scheduled to take place between 25 Dec and the 8th January 2024.
During this period. the Metroport rail line will be closed between 30th December and the 4th January which will impact both Imports and Exports.
The following advice has been received from Metroport;
METROPORT AUCKLAND IMPORTS
Auckland Imports scheduled to arrive between 25th December and 8th January may experience delays due to line maintenance during this time.
METROPORT AUCKLAND EXPORTS
Bookings on affected sailings, due to the rail line closure, must be received at Metroport by the revised cargo cut-off time before 30th December. We will provide you with further details on the affected sailings and revised Metroport cargo cut-off times closer to the date.
