Stellar International was incorporated in June 2002, is privately owned and remains New Zealand independent. Turnover for the 2013 fiscal year was in excess of NZ$ 20 million. There are 17 full time staff in Auckland and 3 in Christchurch.

Stellar has proven, experienced in-house functionality. Our direct interface connectivity with NZ Customs enables fast, efficient processing. We take care of all import / export procedures and documentation processing. Stellar provides tariff consultancy, concession application and advice, drawback expertise, are MPI – Ministry of Primary Industries compliant and with on-line access. Both debtor invoices and import entries are accessible immediately through our website, enabling efficient and quick-landed costings to be made.
Auckland metro or intercity nationwide, we have full access to any vehicle type delivery – FCL swinglift or flat deck, general pallet work, Hiab, tail-lift, or small parcel delivery service etc. We are currently delivering to over 1400 regular customers throughout NZ.
Auckland warehouse: 2000m2 MPI Approved Transitional Facility, 5 full-time hands, 2300 pallet bays, 1 x gas powered counter balance fork lift truck (2 tonne), 1 x “stock picker” (man up) , 1 x “Bendi” – articulated fork lift truck (2 tonne). Stellar International operates a Licensed Customs Bond Store – this gives us the same status as an international shipping wharf or airport, enabling goods that have not been customs cleared to be temporarily transferred and securely stored. Similarly our Auckland facility operates as an MPI Transitional Facility allowing import containers to be delivered on site.
Christchurch warehouse: 400m2 facility, two full-time hands, 300 pallet bays, 1 x gas powered counter balance fork lift truck. This facility also operates as an MPI Approved Transitional Facility allowing import containers to be delivered on site.
Stellar maintains global coverage via our exclusive hand-picked and, more often than not, personally met network of worldwide global logistics partners. Through this network we can help you to establish a secure, competitive, reliable supply chain for raw product or finished goods. Product distribution either within New Zealand or in offshore markets can be established by Stellar International in conjuction with its trusted partners. Both Auckland and Christchurch warehouses and offices are fully secured with “back to base” 24 hour alarm monitoring system. Both the Managing Director and General Manager are on call (via security company) if any unauthorised access is triggered.
Stellar International meets or exceeds all requirements and is an approved NZ Customs bonded warehouse, as well as an MPI – Approved Transitional Facility (ATF), to receive import seafreight containers.
The Auckland warehouse is within a gated community allowing access to electronic pass-holders only after hours.

Operational Health & Safety
Stellar International is constantly reviewing and mindful of all Occupational Health & Safety procedures and documentation. Our OSH consultant visits both sites bi-monthly.
In line with modern business practices, Stellar International has electronically integrated with customers at a high level – particularly with on-line warehousing.
We can pick orders from “inners” right through to pallet or larger despatches (currently averaging 200 despatch orders per day). All warehouse activity can be viewed, measured and tracked on-line through our website 24/7. Stellar communicates with its service providers in ever increasing electronic volumes. As a responsible, reliable partner, significant investment has been made in smart technology to ensure any disruption is minimised and continuous access to vital data and services is delivered to meet the aim of 100% reliability.
IT Back-up and Disaster Recovery
Stellar uses peace-of-mind “Shadow Protect” technology which provides a complete “snap shot” of the entire Stellar IT operating platform, software and individual operator data every 15 minutes. In the unlikely event of any systems failure, we have the technical capability to completely rebuild our IT systems within 3 hours of shutdown with no data loss up to the “event” itself.
